Trout Valley LLC
For Trout Valley, sustainability isn't a marketing slogan. It's an operational decision built into every stage of production.
01.
Water
The RAS system recirculates up to 99% of its water. Producing 1 kg of trout requires roughly 30 L — versus 300–500 L in traditional cage operations. Discharge into natural water bodies is minimal and controlled.
02.
No antibiotics
The closed growing environment removes contact with external pathogens. We don't use antibiotics — not because the law requires it, but because the right technology leaves no need for them.
03.
Feed efficiency
A feed conversion ratio of ~1.15:1 — 1.15 kg of feed per 1 kg of fish weight gain. Far better than chicken, pork, or beef.
04.
CO₂ emissions
Land-based RAS production generates 60–85% fewer greenhouse gases. Local production = shorter logistics = a smaller carbon footprint.
